It is quite diffi cult to avoid nature when growing up on Saaremaa. Consequently, I also developed an interest in nature and photo- graphy at a very early age. On Saaremaa, the local beaches and sea views speak to me the most, but we also have forests, swamps and bogs inviting discovery. All just a short drive away. I mainly visit nature to capture the landscape and fi nd interesting angles using a drone. However, if a wild animal or bird happens to wander in front of the camera, I certainly won’t miss the shot. Such meetings are quite frequent on Saaremaa. My favourite time for trekking outside is early morning when the magic of nature is manifested so clearly. As most people are still asleep around sunrise, it is a joy to share the magic with others through photography.
