GoodKaarma is an organic farm operating in the village of Kuke, Saaremaa, known for its handmade cold-pressed soaps that have won the hearts of locals and visitors alike. The powerful plants of Saaremaa can also be found in the cosmetics of Natura Siberica. It is precisely because of the unique characteristics of the plants shaped by the island’s environment that led to part of the plant production of Natura Siberica being established on Saaremaa. The plants, hardened by the strong winds of the island, possess special protective properties that are infused into the company’s cosmetic products. Some of the plants used in the products are cultivated on Saaremaa, while a significant portion of the power plants grow and are harvested from the wilderness of Siberia. Special attention is given to the timing of the harvest to ensure that the plants are picked when they are richest in nutrients and biologically active compounds.

Tilk! has also incorporated the powerful plants of Saaremaa into its products, alongside beneficial ingredients from other parts of the world. With the help of family and friends, plants are harvested on Saaremaa during the spring and summer, and are later used to create their creams. Now, on the western edge of Saaremaa, by Tagalaht Bay, hydrosols, ie flower waters, are created using the thousands-of-years-old technology of distillation. By treating plants in a unique way, Humi produces doubly effective ointments and lip balms.
